Nokia C910 Wireless LAN PCI Adapter

The Nokia C910 is a Wireless LAN (Local Area Network) PCI adapter for desktop PCs without a type II PCMCIA card slot. The adapter supports the Nokia C110/C111 and Nokia C020/C021 Wireless LAN Cards. The Nokia C910  is simply installed into the desktop PC and the Nokia wireless LAN card is then inserted into the adapter. With Nokia’s wireless LAN card you can easily turn your PC into a wireless workstation.

The wireless LAN cards are used as radio modules that receive and transmit data between the computer and a LAN connected base station. Alternatively, the wireless LAN cards can be used to connect several computers wirelessly together. The Nokia C110/C111 is a type II wireless LAN PC card offering a high data up to 11 Mbit/s. It supports the IEEE 802.11b standard. The Nokia C020/C021 Wireless LAN Card has a data rate of 2 Mbit/s and it supports the IEEE 802.11 standard. All Nokia's wireless LAN cards are based on 2.4 GHz direct sequence radio technology.
